Excellence Fund

Lancaster Country Day School is fortunate to have a strong annual giving program, The Excellence Fund, which helps ensure that the best possible experience is available to every LCDS student. Each year hundreds of parents, alumni, members of the faculty and staff, grandparents and friends support The Excellence Fund. Because our fiscal year runs from July to June, our appeals are ongoing.
Support for The Excellence Fund has exceeded $500,000 in recent years. This funding has directly augmented our operating budget and enabled programmatic gains and stability we could not afford otherwise. Further still, annual giving helps us to offer competitive compensation so we may retain the devoted teachers who make these programs soar.

Because it so directly allows us to pursue and achieve our mission, The Excellence Fund is the school's top fundraising priority. The Excellence Fund is also a reflection of who we are: a tight-knit, caring and supportive community. For many years, every member of our faculty and staff, our Board of Trustees and our senior class has given. Likewise, rates of parent and alumni giving routinely exceed national averages among peer schools.

Last year gifts ranged from $5 to more than $20,000. We consider all donors who invest more than $1,908 a year to be our Benefactors. While we hope all donors will make a personally significant contribution, it is also our desire to collect the financial endorsement of as many members of our community as possible. Please contact a member of our team to make a gift today!
