The Equity Fund

From our preschoolers to our seniors and all the adults who work with them, Lancaster Country Day School aspires to be a community that values every individual’s unique, formative experiences. Our goal is to welcome and affirm students, parents, faculty and staff of all backgrounds and we are committed to ensuring that everyone, no matter their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or social group, feels at home at LCDS.

We have been further inspired by the social justice movement and the critically important perspective provided by Black Lives Matter to intensify our focus on our own practices to ensure that our school is living up to this mission.

This commitment, as well as the encouragement of donors, school families and alumni, grew into the fall 2020 launch of the Equity Fund. This fund enables LCDS to further support its equity and inclusion efforts by funding additional staffing, curriculum development, mentoring programs, conference and workshop fees for students and faculty, and outreach for enrollment and other such efforts in underserved local communities.

Today, we ask that you consider joining us in supporting these
programs. Your donations will ensure the expansion of the scope of this critical element of our program and re-enforces our mission to better serve our entire community.

Together we can and will do more.
