We look forward to getting to know your child. LCDS classrooms are extraordinary places where caring teachers cultivate talent and nurture a lifelong love of learning. The Admission Office is here to help your family better understand your child’s learning style and identify the right social, personal, and academic fit. We seek to create an admission process that is filled with discovery and a careful assessment of your options.
The Admission Process
The admission process can feel a little daunting at first, so let’s keep it simple. Here it is, step-by-step:
LCDS offers many opportunities to visit campus and experience LCDS up close. In fact, a visit is required as part of the application process. You have options, including our weekend Open House events, weekday school tours, student-day visits, and early childhood playgroups. Take a look at our VISIT page to explore all of your choices.
Acceptance letters are sent with an enrollment contract. Contracts are due back within 10 days and must be accompanied by a 10% tuition deposit. Deposit amounts are prorated if a family qualifies for a need-based or merit scholarship. We welcome admitted students and families to schedule a return visit to LCDS before making the final enrollment decision.
