    $12,000 per year.

  • How Will Scholarship Recipients Be Selected?

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of multiple criteria. Decisions will be in part based on the promise of candidates, as demonstrated by references, playgroups and /or testing. The school also looks for clear passion in at least one of the following areas - athletics, the arts and in the case of older applicants, community service. Commitment to learning and habits that show engagement with school and community are encouraged for all students at LCDS. A scholarship applicant will be evaluated with these values in mind.

  • What Is The Scholarship Application Deadline?

For the 2017/2018 scholarships, applications submitted by April 8, 2017 will be considered for the 2017/2018 school year.
  • Is There Any Residency Requirement For A Feeder School Scholarship?

  • Can Community Scholarship Recipients Also Receive Need-Based Financial Assistance?

Yes. Acceptance of a Community Scholarship does not eliminate a family from consideration for need-based assistance. Because a Community Scholarship is based on merit, the amount of a Community Scholarship will not change in the event that need-based financial assistance is also awarded. Families from a broad range of incomes apply to LCDS. Beyond the merit-based program, LCDS provides more than $2.3 million in need-based financial aid to students each year. Any prospective family is encouraged to apply.
