Upper School Academic Courses for Credit
Lancaster Country Day School for-credit summer courses cover the content of full academic year long and trimester classes, allowing students to advance, or to focus on a particular area of study for approximately five weeks in the summer. Classes will be open to students from other schools, with a minimum class size of five students and a maximum class size of 17 students.
The full-year courses are worth 1.00 credit and trimester courses are worth .33 credits, equivalent to an LCDS Upper School class held during the academic year or trimester. The credits will appear on an LCDS transcript. For five weeks in June to July, courses meet daily from 8 a.m.-12/1 p.m. (End time varies due to lost time with holidays.)
The cost for each course is $800 per 1 credit course and $265 per .33 credit course. Registration is on a first come, first-serve basis. Prior to enrollment, students from other schools should contact their school guidance counselor to confirm credit transfer and acceptance.
