The best way to learn about why LCDS is your best option is to come visit. We strongly encourage you to attend as many events as you can. Each opportunity helps you learn more about the different facets of our program.
Come meet our preschool teachers, and experience a day in the life of a Little Cougar at LCDS. Our youngest future cougars and their parents are invited to participate in a preschool lesson, craft, and snack time. Sign up early, as space is limited.
Our All School Open House offers a comprehensive overview of our school curriculum. Families will have the opportunity to tour campus with our student ambassadors, and meet with faculty in small group breakout sessions.
Prospective parents interested in Early Childhood Education are invited to visit the classroom and get acquainted with our teachers. This is a visit for parents and their prospective students. Dates available: October 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, 15th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, & 30th. Visits are 10am-10:30am.
Pre-registration is required. Spots fill up quickly.
Parents are invited to Middle School Mondays where they will learn more about our middle school curriculum from our Head of Middle School, Meg Reed. Following the curriculum overview, parents will visit a middle school classroom and observe a lesson taught by one of our dynamic faculty members.
Lower School welcomes prospective parents to visit campus and see what makes our lower school your best option. Come meet our Head of Lower School, Caroline Badri and learn more about our academic, arts, STEM, and athletic programming. Parents will also have the opportunity to visit classrooms.
Our Upper School faculty invites students and their parents to Touring Tuesday. Spend the evening with us learning more about our upper school curriculum, college counseling, arts programming, and athletic opportunities. Our faculty will also present about the Harkness Method, our active discussion based approach to learning.
