Lancaster Country Day School is seeking an Administrative Assistant and Registrar in the Upper School. This position provides high-level administrative support to the Upper School office (year-round) by managing daily operations of the Upper School office. This person will be the first level of communication with Upper School and will also perform a variety of managerial and organizational duties including those responsibilities of a confidential nature dealing with students, parents, and faculty. Identifying, planning for, organizing and supervising the needs of the Upper School Office which includes the College Counseling Office are integral parts of the position. Duties performed are designed to support the Upper School administrative team and College Counseling Office in their efforts to provide a quality education for LCDS students, timely information for LCDS parents, and a positive working environment for LCDS faculty.
Lancaster Country Day School seeks a highly qualified Upper School Spanish teacher for full-time employment for the 2021-22 school year. Specific tasks include teaching typically five sections of Upper School Spanish (likely to include Spanish II and Spanish IV) and serving as an academic advisor to 8-10 Upper School students.
LCDS is seeking a full time evening custodian to provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities.
Maintaining the school building, facilities and equipment by ensuring regular cleaning and maintenance.
Performing custodial tasks including, but not limited to:
Cleaning offices and classrooms, including furniture and windows.
Cleaning the tops of student desks.
Collecting and putting out trash.
Cleaning the bathrooms.
High School diploma with previous experience preferred.
Ability to operate standard custodial equipment.
Ability to apply common sense understanding and to carry out instructions given in written or oral form.
Ability to ascertain which people may need immediate assistance and to act accordingly.
