The Arts
Lancaster Country Day School offers all of its students - from preschool thru 12th grade - a variety of ways to express themselves and exercise their creative intelligence. The Arts are celebrated and explored through four disciplines: music, visual art, theater and dance. General music and art classes are mandatory for all students through the eighth grade. In Upper School, students are free to explore all the disciplines or to study a single discipline in depth. Beyond the studio and classroom, students are introduced to professional artists working in the field and regularly exhibit and perform their work.
