Upper School English Teacher 

Lancaster Country Day School seeks a knowledgeable, full-time English teacher with a strong background in American literature beginning with the 2013-2014 academic year.

Teaching responsibilities may include multiple sections of American Literature and a series of trimester-elective creative writing courses.

The Upper School English program at Lancaster Country Day School (LCDS) includes a two-year humanities program in 9th and 10th grades followed by American literature in 11th grade and a selection of electives in 12th grade.

LCDS supports the active engagement of students. This includes coaching, club leadership, etc. Our current coaching openings are Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Assistant Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and Middle School Girls Head Soccer Coach.

LCDS also strongly supports the use of technology, and faculty professional development. EOE
