FundFest Children's Challenge

This year's Children's Challenge is so vital, so exciting and so in sync with the pulse of LCDS, that you will not want to miss being a part of this special mission. The 2008 Children's Challenge pursues a cause that is relatable, relative to all three divisions of our school and moreover, is relative to every child enrolled at LCDS. It speaks to what can only be described as a movement in our families toward greater health and fitness. In a school community where the students' health and fitness is equally important as their academic development, it is imperative that our student fitness and activities facilities reflect this fundamental belief in the well-being and development of the whole person.

This year's Children's Challenge is our Student Fitness and Activities Facilities!

Most of our school's fitness facilities, which are used by all students during activities from P.E. classes to athletic teams to recess times, are in some need of repair, update or addition. With the collaboration of the Athletic, Maintenance and Business offices, a list of those needs and their estimates is being compiled.
