Our Advice to You

Question for an LCDS Student?

This section and the links below have been created by students for students. Every word in here has been written or approved by LCDS students.

The scenario is familiar. Your parents have suggested you consider transferring to Country Day. "It has a better academic program," they usually say. "The students all go to college and they end up better prepared. People will probably be friendlier, you'll have more experiences and opportunities for leadership in music, in sports, in the arts, blah, blah, blah.."

This is about you. You want to know -- what would the switch to another school really feel like? How easy would it be to adjust to the schoolwork? Will the kids be cool? Will they accept me? How friendly is it? Does it mean I need to give up your old friends?

Every year, over 100 students join Lancaster Country Day School. This page of the website tries to help you know what it is really like. The following links help you know before you arrive, before you even look, what that might be like.
