COME DANCE

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23

This creative movement class, led by LCDS Faculty member Kim Juresckson, sparks the imagination with music, make believe, and whimsical props. Adults and children alike will experience the joy of movement and self expression through dance improvisation.

SCULPTING FUN

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

This session, led by LCDS Faculty member Lori Hunter, is designed to allow parents and young children to work together while exploring a variety of art materials - including cardboard, paint, tissue paper, metallic paper, pom poms, glitter, model magic, pipe cleaners and more. The finished product is a whimsical relief sculpture, but the best part is being able to dig in, get messy and have lots of fun with your child.

COOKING WITH KIDS

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11

Young cooks will have a blast in this session led by Essen founder and LCDS Parent, Betsey Sterenfeld. This interactive session will help young children learn about food sources, how to follow a recipe, basic cooking techniques, kitchen safety and hygiene, and, yes, even table manners. Of course we will conclude with a group meal to savor our delicious creations. Essen Kinder Classes are 100% hands-on - we cook together, we eat together. And we have fun!

CALLING ALL YOGIS

TUESDAY, JANUARY 15

Join us while we stretch and strengthen, balance and twist in a gentle and fun yoga session. Julie Kathleen Mathers, a certified children's yoga instructor who teaches in LCDS's after-school enrichment program, brings several years of experience teaching yoga to all levels of learners including babies, tweens, teens, moms and pregnant women.
