On the Topic of Tuition

We offer over $2.3 million in financial aid to families from many different circumstances. Some families are surprised that our aid is granted to families of a real variety of circumstances. For example, 30% of our need- based aid goes to families who make more than $100,000 a year.

Our educational program has more in common with (and costs significantly less than) top Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia and Washington area schools. A close look will indicate that LCDS is more similar to these high-achieving independent schools than to the Lancaster area’s other tuition-paying programs. With this in mind, we hope any family with strong candidates will look closely at our program and explore how financial aid works at our school.

The financial aid process is quite easy and inexpensive to complete. The full costs on our tuition schedule may be much more than what you end up required to pay.  For that reason, we ask that families of any circumstances call for a full free packet. Our information packet will allow you to make a decision with all the facts, and not from an incomplete understanding of the actual cost for your family.
